A name is a lovely place to start.

Look at the example together. Notice the first letter, say the name and let your child follow the tracing with a finger before trying a pencil. Use the blank lines for a small attempt, a big attempt or another day.

Keep it comfortable

There is no need to finish every line. A child can watch you model a letter, make large marks on spare paper, or return to the activity when they feel ready. We preserve the capitals and lowercase letters you enter.

Where is the name saved?

It stays in this page’s memory and in the PDF you choose to save. We do not upload it, add it to the URL or store it in browser storage. Refreshing restores the example.

Can I choose cursive or school handwriting?

This first version uses a clear print font. It does not claim to follow a handwriting scheme. Ask your child’s setting which formation and letter style they use.
