A little about Little Learning Kit

Meet Rob, the parent who started making learning resources for his own children and now shares them free.

It started with my own children.

I’m Rob, the parent behind Little Learning Kit. I was already making little learning activities for my own children because I found it frustrating to find the resources we needed.

I wanted clear pictures we could look at together, simple activities to print and useful answers to check as we went. Too often, finding something suitable meant buying a book on Amazon or paying for downloadable printables on places like Etsy. Other times, all I could find was a small, blurry preview.

So I started making my own. Little Learning Kit grew out of those everyday learning moments, and now I’m sharing these resources for other families, carers and teachers to use too.

A little less searching. A little more exploring.

Here you’ll find picture cards, stories, crafts, printable activities and tools to make a worksheet your own. The resources are produced by Little Learning Kit, with printable sheets generated in the size and style you choose. You can use them on screen or take them to the table, without an account or a paid download.

I hope you find something your children enjoy, whether that’s naming a new shape, reading a tiny story or making something to stick on the fridge.

Keeping the resources free

My aim is to keep Little Learning Kit free to use, with advertising helping to cover the costs of running the website. Ads aren’t running yet; when they are introduced, we’ll explain them in our privacy notice and provide any relevant choices.

Made for exploring together

Parents, carers and teachers choose the activity and lead the conversation. Suggested ages are a starting point for browsing, and you can adapt each activity to the child in front of you. Follow your child’s school approach for handwriting and phonics.

I’m a parent and the site’s creator. These are general learning activities, with educational guidance linked to its sources. Read how we make and check our resources, or get in touch if something needs improving.
